Lucia - 2008

Today at about 3.30 pm my mother had some visitors, both big and small. Four of her 15 grandchildren and seven of her 18 great-grandchildren came and celebrated Lucia with her. The children were singing Lucia songs and then they had some hard earned syrup, gingerbread and Lucia cats.

Agnes and Tintin are a little bit sky of there next cousins. They do not meat them that very often, but the other five at the picture are first cousins and are meating quite often though.

They all were singins very nice and a lot of Christmas and Lucia songs. Afterwards they applaud them selves ;-)

Poor Tintin, he's the only boy among all the girls ;-)

Long Missing Package!

A couple of days ago we got a long missing (birthday) package from our dear friends and “cousins”, Judy and Craig. The package should have arrived for about one and a half month ago, but something must have happened on its way over here. It was worth waiting for as you can see here beneath.
I’m so glad that the package arrived at last and not disappeared some place between here and there! Would have been sad on such nice gifts, don’t you think?

Anna and I got each one of Judy’s hand made cell phone bags, just so lovely and well made. Bertil got a cool T-shirt with Judy and Craig’s favourite Football team’s logotype printed on it ;-)

One day in Denmark

Marie has bought her self a T-shirt that she's going to wear next week when she and her whole family is going to Stockholm and celebrate her husband Kenneth's 50th birthday.

The clock is now 18.15 and this is our head destination for the day.
Forum, Kopenhagen.

One and a half hour until the show begin. Pew, we are tired and our feets are aching after a whole day of shopping and walking, but I think that we are looking happy anyhow ;-) Kopenhagen's "huvudbangård", central railwaystation. The show is over and we are waiting for our train home. the time is here about 22.30 and the train is going about 22.45. We are not in Ängelholm until 00.55 and then there's even more than half an hour by car before we are at home and in bed. Bertil drove us both ways. We started from Ängelholm because Elisabet lives there. We had a great day, but home sweet home. I'm glad that I'm living in a small place. I don't think that I had managed to live in a big city like Kopenhagen. One day is fun, but enough.
