Today (25th) it's Seventeen Years since...

...our Peter passed away from us, but it feels like it was only yesterday.

Bertil and I went out for a short drive with the car tonight (24th) and for once I remembered to take my BIG camera with me. The sunset was so beautiful, and the sun was all pink, not orange as it uses to be, and it went down very fast. It’s only five minutes between the first and the last picture.

Entertainment =))))

Yesterday we had Agnes and Tintin here the whole afternoon, but first I was picking them up at the day care center in Torekov.
When we got home Tintin fell a sleep and slept for almost two hours. Agnes hadn’t been eating any lunch so I made her some homemade pancakes, stewed fruit (fruktkräm) and an ice lolly (glasspinne) for dessert. When Tintin woke up he got the same food, and Agnes got one more ice lolly =)
After that they got a lot of energy as you can see from my small movies below.
Both Bertil and I were shaking of laughter when Tintin started to move after the music. We tried not to show that we were laughing, because then he probably had stopped his “show”. He looked so cute and it seemed like he was in some kind of trance when the music started.
Agnes was playing around in the background, cute as always too ;-)

Dance With Me!

Yesterday evening (Saturday) Bertil and I were babysitting Agnes and Tintin while Anna and Ronnie were at a concert on Båstad’s tennis stadium. Anna had won two tickets to Rhapsody in Rock. We had our own concert with Agnes and Tintin. They entertained us almost the whole evening ;-)

Tintin is now 9½ month old and has already started to walk.
That little boy is just so amazing!
One more week and he will probably be running around.

Tintin & Agnes on her "Run Bike".

Sometime last year, don’t remember exactly when, I bought Agnes a ”Run Bike”. That’s a little bike without pedals.

I bought it on “Leksaksmagasinet” in Ängelholm, and if I remember right I paid about 3-400 sek. A superable (överkomlig) sum in my opinion in the view of that the children doesn’t need the bike for more than perhaps a year or so.
The clever thing with this little bike is that the kids learn, often very fast, how to keep the balance without that irritating small support wheels on the back wheel.
In the beginning Agnes was a little bit afraid of the bike, and she didn’t reach all the way down to the ground, but now she’s a little bit taller and has no problem at all to ride on her “Run Bike”.

What I can see she looks very happy when she’s “running”.

I think that little Tintin would have liked very much to try too.

A New TV and My Grandchildren!

Well, today it's a whole week since you heard something from me so I thought that it was time for a little chatt again ;-)

Today I bought my self a new "little" TV for the kitchen. I was tired of the old, small and thick one. The new also had a DVD-player built in, so that was a little bonus =)

So when I came home from my shopping I started to make dinner AND installed my new TV at the same time.

I'm pleased both with my new TV and the dinner we had. I haven't tried the DVD-player yet but intend to that tomorrow.
