Isn't that funny!!! I remember it so well!
I hope your mother will be happy there. Her apartment sounds wonderful. Please give her my love and best wishes...and also a huge hug and kiss on the cheek. She is such a wonderful LADY!!!

We enjoyed a lovely Father's Day, and it was so nice to see Dave and Kristin. They met us for church, took us out for lunch and then I had to head back to the regatta. Boooooo! The kids went to visit my Mom and had a very nice time....and so did she!!

I can only imagine how busy you have been helping your mother move. That is exhausting work, and very stressful and emotional. Please don't think a thing about a gift to me. Your kindness over the years and friendship are gift enough!!!! I seriously mean that! I'm sure that your parent's home will sell very quickly...oh, I hope it's not some, what did you call them? Seagulls????, from Stockholm!!! Please correct me on that...and do give me the Swedish name...it is so wonderful!!
OK, it's late and I must go to bed!!!

xo to all,
JudyJudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04787074582148834510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22222684.post-1150622765513306172006-06-18T11:26:00.000+02:002006-06-18T11:26:00.000+02:00Hi Judy!I'm glad that you had fond memories when y...Hi Judy!
I'm glad that you had fond memories when you saw the pictures, because I thought of you when I put them on my blog ;-)

Yes, our "Rödstjärt" is the same as your "Redstart". This redstart lives at the backside of our house in a big beech tree (the tree that I placed on my blog in the end of May - "Look what 12 days can do!")

Please say hello and give a big hug to Krtistin from me when she arrives today!
We celebrate Father's Day in November and our Mother's day in May ;-)
I hope you will have a wonderful day with your family, and give also Craig a big hug on his day today!
At last I have got your birthday gifts ready and I will send it off to you as soon as possible.
Me and my sibblings have had a hectic time this spring and the last two weeks. My mother moved to a "service apartment" in Västra Karup (the little village that your grandfather came from)last Sunday. It's a very, very nice apartment! Unfortunately isn't the house sold yet, but I'm not worried. The "right" buyer will turn up in due time :-)
Love and Hugs to you All too,
EvaEva Hagbjärnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04436625876941460142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22222684.post-1150592495539127302006-06-18T03:01:00.000+02:002006-06-18T03:01:00.000+02:00Hej Eva!Usually I am notified by blogger when you ...Hej Eva!
Usually I am notified by blogger when you post, but I hadn't been, so I went to your blog to check for myself...and you had posted twice since I was last notified. I loved the pictures of Hovs Haller....reminds me so much of the very first time that we visited you and you took us there. Oh what fond memories I hold!!!
I think we call the bird you are looking at a "redstart"...could that be? We see them in the Spring up in the Smoky Mountains.
Hope you all are well.
We are looking forward to a visit from Dave and Kristin tomorrow, as it will be Father's Day here in the States.
Love and Hugs to All,
JudyJudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04787074582148834510noreply@blogger.com
